Six Flags New England also offers a scary experience with Fright Fest taking place September 22- October 28.  They have scare zones throughout the park, and zombies and ghouls lurking in every corner!  During Fright Fest will also be live performances by Graveyard Groove, Final Frekout and The Awakening, Mahem Mission and Mort’s Used Coffins.

The Terror Trail

For as long as I can remember, every fall I see signs for the The Terror Trail in Wallingford, CT.  I still have yet to go to it.  It opens at approximately 7pm on September 29th, and then weekends (Friday – Sunday) in October.  The Trail is NOT open on Halloween.

Tickets for the trail are $15 General Admission.  Timed Tickets (allowing you to pick the date and time slot you wish to enter the Trail) can be purchased online. Limited General admission is available each night at the Trail but sells out fast.  It is strongly recommended to purchase Timed Tickets ahead of time.

Are you going to head out to a fun event during the fall with your family?  For us, the Durham Fair is a MUST DO on our fair list.  Hope to see you there!
